We're getting together to continue writing compelling submissions for the once-in-ten-years review of Australia's national environment laws, and we'd love you to come too.

When: 2 - 4pm, Saturday 22 February 2020.
Where: Jean's house in Hawthorn. Please RSVP so you can receive and SMS with the exact address the day before.
Who: You, me, our mates who also want to protect the places and animals we love.

We're writing to the independent review panel, encouraging them to show leadership in the face of Australia's extinction crisis. They need to ensure we all have a future with clean water and air, a safe climate, and to protect the places we love, by ensuring our national nature laws are up to scratch.

Why? Australia's 20 year old environment laws are up for review and we're committed to making sure the people in charge of reviewing them do a proper job of it. The public submission period has been extended until 17 April 2020, so this is our chance to get onto it.

Personalised submissions work, are worth many times more in the eyes of our elected reps than a signature on a ready-made submission, and are one important way you can make sure your point of view is included in this once in a decade opportunity.

A crew of experienced submission writers will be on hand to provide training, support, and guides in case you're wondering "How on earth do I write one of these things?".

Craft, letters, writing, people power

Will you come?
