The local state member for Ivanhoe, Anthony Carbines from the Labor Party, stood in a decimated area of iconic Victorian bushland, destroyed by chainsaws and bulldozers, that was then set alight and burned to a crisp. Like many, it was here that he saw with his own eyes the destruction of the logging, recognised there is a problem, and learnt about the Great Forest National Park.
We’re demanding that decision makers like him—people with the power to create this positive future—lead the way for lasting forest protection.
Join us at Rosanna Train Station where we'll be getting the word out about the GFNP.
There aren’t many more places as unique like this just a hop step and jump from our front door, so let’s make sure we protect it—because once it’s gone, it’s gone.
