The Wilderness Society is a not-for-profit community based conservation organisation dedicated to the protection and restoration of our wilderness and wildlife. Since it was established in 1976 to help save the Franklin River, the Wilderness Society has been has been a key player in Australia’s most famous environmental campaigns.
