Come along and join us in learning how to create sustainable gum leaf decorations for your home. We’ll be stringing gum leaves together to create bunting, stitching on the leaves, and painting them.Â
It will be a fun-filled afternoon led by our own Wilderness Society North East group members including Jodie, a textiles teacher and crafter, and Elizabeth, a creative arts therapist.
We will be meeting at the Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub in the Design Maker Space on Level 3.
We will provide all of the tools and materials, but you are also welcome to bring your own.

Our own backyard of Banyule is home to many threatened wildlife and plants that together, make up the beautiful green corridor that we call home. The Wilderness Society Melbourne North East group are working to strengthen our nature laws to ensure long-lasting protection for these species.Â
Come along and join us in creating beautiful sustainable decorations, connect with nature, and meet new friends.
Looking forward to seeing you there!Â
