ABOUT

As Coles prepares for its biggest corporate event of the year, all around the country we’re calling on Coles to go deforestation-free.
Everyday, homes for koalas and cockatoos are destroyed to produce products that end up at our supermarkets–from beef, aluminium cans, to the pallets our groceries are transported on and the packaging they’re sold in.
Coles continues to profit while nature and climate-sustaining forests and bushland are being destroyed.
Coles will be holding their AGM in Melbourne next week so Wilderness Society is holding actions in cities all across the country to put maximum pressure on Coles through community power at this crucial moment.
Selling only deforestation-free products–like beef and packaging–would support the suppliers and producers who are sustainably managing forests and bushland. We should all be able to do our grocery shopping without worrying that our everyday products are contributing to extinctions.
Coles has the power to help stop the destruction.
