Will you join us and thousands of others in calling on government MPs and corporate CEOs to fix their deforestation problem?
Come along, enjoy a drink and a feed, as we craft letters to both the Labor government and supermarket CEOs to help end forest mining in the Northern Jarrah Forest.
The WA government has been allowing bauxite miners to destroy WA forests for over half a century, even as their plans are under assessment by the EPA - meanwhile, big supermarkets are complicit in deforestation happening all across Australia, and due to the secrecy around their supply chain, could be stocking aluminium products that caused the destruction of thousands of hectres of WA jarrah forests- including precious habitat for critically endangered black cockatoos.
We must continue to pressure those in power to show that we won't be going anywhere until they clean up their act and go deforestation free!
Together we can end bauxite mining in the Jarrah forests and hold both governments and corporations to account for their compliance in deforestation.
See you there!
