As part of our annual Nature Walk Challenge we're organising a hike into the Jarrah Forest to the stunning lookout of Mount Cooke.
This will be a 10km/3hr return journey hike and will be quite strenuous so please keep this in mind before joining. There will be a shuttle bus leaving from Pioneer Park in Fremantle at 8am and returning at 3pm- spots are limited so please RSVP! There will also be a meeting point at Mt Cooke Carpark in Jarrahdale at 9am before the commencement of the hike.
This year’s Nature Walk Challenge is powering the Wilderness Society’s citizen science app - Watch on Nature. By taking part in the Nature Walk Challenge, you'll help us to uncover deforestation and hold powerful corporations to account.
