The Federal Government has released huge offshore areas for potential exploration by fossil fuel corporations, including a number of our pristine marine wilderness areas such as World Heritage listed Ningaloo and Shark Bay, and the Abrolhos Islands.
The good news? The Federal Government is seeking community input, through a public consultation process.
You're invited to a Submission Writing Workshop, hosted by The Wilderness Society's WA organising team. During the workshop we will cover what the offshore acreage is all about, the risks to our precious marine ecosystems and how to write an impactful individual submission.
This workshop will be held via a Zoom video-conference meeting. Once you RSVP for the workshop, you will be sent the Zoom meeting link via email.
