ABOUT

Join us as we attempt a World record to get the most people doing a yoga tree pose to end deforestation in the Northern Jarrah Forest!

There'll be live music and community stalls where you can find out more about protecting WA's nature.

By 2030 we want to see laws in place in Australia that will protect the forests from logging, mining, thinning and burning to stop extinctions, act on climate, and provide clean water unimpeded.

Bauxite mining in the NJF is amongst the biggest polluters and the biggest deforestors, exacerbating climate change by clearing forests, extracting billions of litres of water, threatening endangered wildlife, and putting our drinking water at risk.

Let's ensure forests, climate, water, and wildlife are protected for future generations to come.

-----------

Bring a picnic, water, hat, and sunscreen and start practicing your stretches!

This event will be held both in-person and online. If you intend to be joining online, please access the Zoom link here: https://wilderness-org.zoom.us/s/87294706308
