Welcome to The Wilderness Society WA

Hello Nature Lovers!

We're a collective of curious, nature loving and ready-to-go people here in Perth and we're inviting likeminded people like yourself to join us as we work for the future of our wild places.

If you'd like to help us celebrate life here in WA while also making a difference along the way then we'd love for you to join us.

Our community organising program is all about immersing yourself in an incredible learning and development experience so that collectively we can better protect, promote and restore Wilderness across Australia.

RSVP here to the next Community Organising Training.

Volunteering with The Wilderness Society is an incredibly rewarding experience.

We have a number of roles within our campaign centre here in Perth, if you’ve got a skill you’d like to share as a volunteer, or you’d just love to get out and about chatting to the community about the work that we do, then we’d love to hear from you.

Right now we are after:

  • Stalls Coordinator
  • Event Organiser: Kimberley Custodian Supporter Trip
  • Research volunteer: Gas Fracking Research - short report
  • Submission writer: Key opportunities to protect Great Western Woodlands & Kimberley

Please email us at [email protected] to express your volunteer interest and we’ll find the right role for you.

Neighbourhood Collectives are a place where members and supporters of the Wilderness Society can meet people locally, explore our great wild places together and work towards the ongoing protection of our environment.

Together we can empower our communities, support our local leaders and build effective teams that create the solutions we need for nature.

Please email us at [email protected] to express your interest, or sign up here.

Throughout the year we hold a number of events where you get to experience first hand our beautiful wild places in person.

Please like us on Facebook to be kept up-to-date on our next events!
