We've passed the winter solstice but the nights are chillier than ever, so we invite you to come and warm your hands and hearts at our Wild Winter Film Night series!
This month we are screening A Gentle Giant, a film about aquatic ecologist and bushman Todd Walsh's attempts to preserve the giant Tasmanian freshwater lobster whose home is being destroyed by sediment runoff from logging. Four other Balangara Film shorts will also be shown: Nature Needs You, Looking After Country, Looking After Our Food and Looking After Our Environment.
We'll also be having a Wilderness Update from our Tassie TWS Campaign Manager Tom Allen.
Where: 174 Charles St, Wilderness Society Campaign Centre
When: 5:30pm for 6pm start, Friday 26th July 2019
Entrance is by donation and refreshments will be available by donation also. You’re also welcome to bring along a small pillow for popping onto our seats too, for ultimate viewing pleasure!
Please RSVP to Kathleen 0437 728 011, or via the green RSVP button on the top-right of this page (or drop by the centre)! :)
