ABOUT

We invite you to come and warm your hands and hearts at our Wild Winter Film Night series!

Pilliga Rising is a heartwarming insight into the community resistance to coal seam gas in the Pilliga forest and across North West NSW. A loving father, a young Indigenous multimedia artist, an experienced citizen scientist and a businesswoman-potter who has made the Pilliga her home, all rise up to protect water, people, country and community. We'll also be screening another Balangara Films short, Values of our Forests.

And don't forget about our Wilderness Update from our Tassie TWS Campaign Manager Tom Allen, who'll be coming up from Hobart especially to speak with us.

Where: 174 Charles St, Wilderness Society Campaign Centre
When: 5:30pm for 6pm start, Friday 26th July 2019

Entrance is by donation and refreshments will be available by donation also. You’re also welcome to bring along a small pillow for popping onto our seats too, for ultimate viewing pleasure!

Please RSVP to Kathleen 0437 728 011, or via the green RSVP button on the top-right of this page (or drop by the centre)! :)
